Our Story
With only 2 staff members and a small space big enough for a handful of people, Brenda opened Stylz Salon & Spa July 2012. Holding firm to her vision of an affordable family salon, she quickly doubled her staff and location size to suit the demands of the community. Stylz Salon & Spa took on renovations in 2013, expanding into the neighboring space. Just over 2 years after establishing the salon, Gwen was introduced to the team. It was hardly a transition, with Brenda’s shared fondness of purple and Gwen’s experience, the two became fast friends and made a name for themselves working side by side and offering a warm and friendly environment to all who walked through the door. The same year, Nancy brought her nail services and drive to continually improve, always adding to her repertoire of aesthetic knowledge and skills. Over the years, Stylz Salon & Spa has continued to develop the aesthetics department; adding facials and waxing as well as threading to it’s list of desirable services, along with massages and lash extensions being included more recently. Stylz Salon & Spa has become Strathmore’s all-in-one shop for all needs in hair care, skin care, nail care, and everything in between.

The heart and soul of Stylz Salon & Spa, Brenda has developed her own brand of family centered hair and aesthetic care. With a passion for providing the best services to her clientele, she does it all from haircuts to cold light therapy. As the owner, she is alway enhancing her own skills and providing training for her staff in a range of services to establish Stylz Salon & Spa as the best one-stop-shop for all your hair, skin, and nail needs.

With over 40 years of experience in the hair industry and having maintained a number of her clients for decades, Gwen has established herself as an expert in her field. Whether it’s a cut, color, perm, or rollers, you are in good hands with Gwen.

Trained in Classic and Volume lash extensions through the prestigious company NovaLash, Cassie uses only top of the line products to provide her lash clients with the best longevity for her lash extensions and the most seamlessly natural look.
